Entrepreneurship Development Program: Building and Managing Social Enterprises
About the programme
ISEED organised its 5th Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on "Building & Managing Social Enterprise" from 7th- 9th February, 2019.
The three-day programme was attended by 15 participants from diverse backgrounds. Among them were recent graduates with work experience who plan to start-up or have recently started up as well as members of not-for-profit organizations looking to explore enterprise models.
The EDP was designed to encourage start-ups to think and plan activities differently. This was done using insights from innovation, design thinking and from lean start-ups, so as to enable social enterprises to build business models for growth and scale. This furthers our endeavor to add value and form a collaborative peer network of enterprises that are rural-minded, socially sensitive and impact-oriented. We intend to work closely with these social enterprises in the future and provide them with incubation support through their entrepreneurial journeys.
